Frequently asked questions
The answers we give most often, written out in full rather than hinted at.
Buying
Is this legal?
Yes. Nearly everything we distribute is licensed under the GNU General Public Licence, which expressly permits redistribution, including commercially. You are paying us for sourcing, verification, scanning, hosting and support — not for the software licence, which the GPL already gives you for free. Our GPL notice explains exactly what you are buying.
What is the difference between a single purchase and a membership?
A single purchase gives you one product, the current release, and updates for a fixed period. A membership unlocks the entire catalogue for as long as it is active, up to a daily download limit that depends on your plan.
Can I use a product on more than one site?
Yes. The GPL places no limit on the number of installations, and neither do we.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 14 days. Our refund policy sets out the cases where we may decline, such as bulk-downloading the catalogue and then asking for money back.
Downloads
What is a daily download limit?
The number of separate archives you can download in a calendar day on your plan. It resets at midnight UTC. Re-downloading the same file counts each time, so grab it once and keep it.
What happens when I hit my limit?
Downloads pause until the limit resets, and the site tells you how long that is. Your access is not affected and nothing is lost. Upgrading raises the limit immediately.
Why do download links expire?
Every link is signed and short-lived, and tied to your account. That stops links being shared or hot-linked, which is what keeps the service affordable for people who actually pay.
Are the files the real thing?
Yes. Archives are redistributed unmodified, with the author's licence and copyright notices intact. We do not strip licence checks or inject code. Every archive is malware-scanned and you can view the scan result on the product page.
Updates
How long do I get updates for?
A single purchase includes updates for the period stated on that product page. You can extend that to lifetime updates at checkout. An active membership includes every update while it is active.
What happens to updates if my membership lapses?
Files you already downloaded remain yours — the GPL guarantees that and we would not claim otherwise. What stops is the service: new downloads and new versions. Renewing restores it.
How quickly are new versions added?
We aim to publish within a few days of an author's release. The changelog shows exactly what changed and when, for every product.
Support
What if a product does not work on my site?
Tell us. If the archive is faulty or is not what we described, we will fix it or refund you. If it is a compatibility issue with your particular setup, we will help you diagnose it, though we cannot promise every product works with every theme and plugin combination.
Do you take requests for products not in the catalogue?
Yes. Members can request additions, and higher tiers go into a priority queue. We check licence provenance before listing anything, so some requests will be declined with an explanation.
Account
How do I cancel?
From your account settings, in one click, at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not ask you to email anyone to do it.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with the remaining value of your current plan credited. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
Still stuck?
We aim to reply within 24 hours. That is a target we measure, not a promise we have dressed up as a guarantee.
